At BuzzBuilderz part of our job is to make the transition to Web 2.0 easier for businesses and individuals, so from time to time we’ll be posting information on tools to help you interface with social media and simple and effective ways.

One of the tools I’ve just started using is a Firefox interface called Zemanta, which provides assistance in generating content on your blog. Zemanta comes in a couple of flavors – either as the Firefox extension I mentioned earlier, or as a plugin for various blogging platforms.

Another great source when you’re little stuck creatively is 43 Folders written by Merlin Mann which is a great “kick in the hea” site to help you through a few exercises or questions to help stir your thought process and get you moving creatively.  Its funny, interesting and I find it very helpful.

To give you some idea of how these sites can help you (aside from providing a short cut to find photos clip art that you can use in your blogging) here’s a link to a site about using a tool developed by Merlin Mann recommended by Zemanta while I was writing this post. Since we all get distracted while we’re working amid the bright lights and shiny objects of the web, I think you might find this a helpful app as well. Amazing how all of these things, created by different people in different places, for different reasons, can come together to help us when we need them.
