It didn’t take me long to find something at BlogWorld that I wanted to write about.

In her Keynote speech this morning (which I regrettably only caught half of), Laura Fitton spoke about being awesome, knowing your superpower, being generous and valuable. She was warm, funny, engaging and did an outstanding job.

But the thing that struck me most was the idea that we can affect a positive change together. As we continue to evolve throughout these new media, it becomes apparent how interconnected we are, and although the power to affect change can begin with one person it takes a group effort to make it spread, and as our community grows closer together and the culture of collaboration takes hold, it really does become a matter of how we can all work to make things better for all of us – in business, in charity, and in our lives.
